چکیده

Recently, Activity Based Costing (ABC) and ABM (Activity Based Management) have gotten a lot of attention. This paper’s target is the realization of production resource management based on ABM. In order to realize ABRM (Activity Based Resource Management), the analysis of “Activity” and the development of “Monitoring system” are necessary. “Monitoring system” measures the amount of each activity execution. In particular, monitoring of production resource (man, machine, etc.) requires high accuracy of measurement, low introduction cost of monitoring method. In this paper, the new monitoring system, which consists of the estimation logic with “State transition graph”, “Activity relationship diagram” and “Activity-state matrix diagram”, is proposed. As a result of the simulation analysis, the proposed monitoring system has higher monitoring accuracy than the conventional system.

Towards An Internet Enabled Cooperative Manufacturing Management Framework

In this paper, manufacturing management issues are addressed at three levels: inter-enterprise, intra-enterprise and shop floor levels. An Internet enabled framework based on Web services and software agents for cooperative manufacturing management is proposed. A Web based integration environment consisting of an agent based scheduling system, a Web based remote monitoring and control system, a...

Real Time Distributed Shop Floor Scheduling Using an Agent-Based Service-Oriented Architecture

This paper proposes a distributed manufacturing scheduling framework at the shop floor level. The shop floor is modeled as a collection of multiple workcells, each of which is modeled as a flexible manufacturing system. The framework consists of a distributed shop floor control structure, dynamic distributed scheduling algorithms, multi-agent system modeling of workcell, and service oriented in...

Wise-ShopFloor: A Web-Based and Sensor-Driven e-Shop Floor*

Targeting the remote monitoring and control of shop floors, this paper proposes a new framework called Wise-ShopFloor (Webbased integrated sensor-driven e-ShopFloor) that can be applied to distributed manufacturing environments. It utilizes the latest Java technologies (Java 3D and Java Servlet) for system implementation. This Web-based framework allows users to monitor and control a distant sh...

Rapid Development of a Distributed Shop Floor Control System from Formal Model-based Control Software Specification

As the level of distribution of resources in a shop floor grows, the development of control software for distributed shop floor control is of significant interest. Since hand-woven control software is expensive and difficult to reconfigure, a formal methodology that supports generating control software rapidly is in need of exploitation. Although a number of approaches to formal specification a...

Collaborative Manufacturing Management in Networked Supply Chains

ERP systems provide information management and analysis to industrial companies and support their planning activities. They are currently mostly based on theoretical values (averages) of parameters and not on the actual, real shop floor data, leading to disturbance of the planning algorithms. On the other hand, sharing data between manufacturers, suppliers and customers becomes very important t...
